The focus of IntheGym.net is to help keep you motivated and going strong during your workout with workout music playlists. The songs on a playlist are grouped together by music genre and by workout type, so whether you like Hip Hop or Rock and whether you lift weights, run or use the elliptical, we've got you covered with the latest and the best workout songs.
IntheGym.net was originally started in May 2007 by Tanya Taylor (who is also the editor for iAteApie.net Diet & Healthy Food Product Reviews). After searching the internet for workout music to add to my iPod, I realized that there wasn't a website where I could listen to songs geared towards working out ... so I started one. My relationship with fitness dates back to high school, where I played many sports. To this day, I still play soccer. I currently live in NY, where I teach at a small college in addition to running IntheGym.net and iAteApie.net.
