Yup - it was time for new shoes and someone also suggested I replace the insoles with some gel insoles. I grabbed a pack of Sof Sole Athlete InSoles and it's been one of the best purchases I made (can't say the same for the running shoes I bought). The cushioning is fantastic, and I can say that I haven't experienced any of the symptoms I was having before.
