Motivation Minute is a weekly series on IntheGym.net with tips & tricks aimed at getting you off the couch, or away from the desk and into the gym.

Motivation Minute Public CalendarThis may not be for everyone, but for some, this really could help. Get public with your workouts. It could be as simple as printing out a blank calendar, putting it on your refrigerator, and fill in your workouts as you do them. You probably won't want to see a calendar full of blank spaces from missed workouts, plus it's out there for your kids or significant other to see and help motivate you to get out the house when needed.

Another way may be to start a blog or have an online public training log (like ours). It's definitely motivating to know that people will be reading when you do or don't work out.
