Music: Hip Hop || Workout: Running.
Last week, there were rumors that a 7.7 mile stretch of "rail trail" had been completed - a mere 15 minute drive from my home. It's really more like a scenic paved road path that's closed to motorized traffic, so on Saturday, I set out to run it. This playlist was made, and from the beginning it was like a jam fest! There are old favorites like 6 Foot 7 Foot, Lil Wayne (maybe it's time to retire this), and some new stuff like, I Do It, Big Sean and Everyday (Coolin'), Swizz Beatz. These tunes were perfect for an easy run - I managed to make it 6 miles before turning back - hopefully I'll be able to run the entire thing in a few weeks if marathon training goes according to plan.
